Meet our Founder: Alistair Mitchell

Sucuro was founded by Alistair Mitchell in September 2021. Alistair is a third time founder and was previously a senior political appointee in the Australian Government within the treasury, foreign affairs, trade and defence portfolios.

He pioneered the concept of decentralized participatory asset management (dPAM) and was named as one of Harvard Business Review’s Vanguards of 2022 for disrupting the global asset management industry.

We lead with conviction and build for the future

Sucuro was founded on the deep conviction we could make real estate assets more valuable by adding trust and transparency with blockchain technology.

We're building a new operating system for the world's real estate assets: a single blockchain-native platform to manage and trade tokenized real estate assets.

We started building before McKinsey & Company declared real estate tokenization was inevitable; before Citi Group declared the inflection point for blockchain technology had arrived and before BlackRock declared tokenization will be the next generation for markets.

The Sucuro Business Token (SUCB) was deployed on the Polygon Network on 24 March 2023, replacing the Sucuro Governance Token (SUCG).

SUCB holders are entitled to the dividends from the Sucuro smart contracts and vote to appoint a company to manage corporate affairs (such as hiring staff and owning intellectual property), currently Australian registered company Sucuro (Venture) Pty Ltd.

The Sucuro Portal for SUCB holders can be accessed on a Web3 native mobile app, such as the browser in MetaMask, or on a desktop with Google Chrome, Firefox, or Brave.
